Legislative & Governmental Affairs (LGA)

We strengthen public safety and emergency preparedness through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage, and implement Cal OES’s legislative, public safety policy, tribal affairs, international affairs, and executive programs. During active response operations, Cal OES Legislative & Governmental Affairs coordinates legislative calls and the LGA and Joint Field Office Speakers Bureau.
