Mission Statement
Disaster Financial Recovery and Reconciliation (DFRR) Office acts as the central coordination hub between state agencies and the Department of Finance on all funding needs related to emergency incidents by ensuring they have the necessary funds to operate while maximizing available federal reimbursement for eligible events.

DFRR team members are a reliable source of information related to incident cost reporting. The DFRR team will enhance communication between state agencies and departments, Cal OES internal partners and DOF to assist in streamlining the response efforts and funding needs for an incident.

DFRR team members work in collaboration with internal and external partners for the common purpose of serving all state agencies throughout California.
